How popcorn pops

How popcorn pops
This informative text is all about how and why delectable
popcorn pops.

The kernel which is basically the small seed has a very
hard shell which is called a hull. The hull traps the steam
and protects the seed. When the heat creates a lot of
steam inside the kernel, the steam rushes out and pops the
popcorn. So then there you have your delicious popcorn
ready to be eaten. But the question is, what's inside the
kernel and what's the white fluffy stuff that came out of
the kernel? Well, inside the kernel we have the endosperm,
the endosperm is the seeds fuel. The kernel also has a
germ inside it which would develop into a plant if you were
going to plant the seed. The white fluffy stuff is just the
starch.

Now you know that inside the kernel there is an endosperm
which is the seeds fuel. You also know that the kernel’s
hard shell is called the hull.
